Adani Mundra Port, one of India’s leading ports, is delighted to announce yet another significant achievement. During the month of October, the port has created a record of successfully handling 4 million containers (TEUs). Notably, this milestone has been achieved in just 203 days in FY24, a testament to Mundra Port’s commitment to efficiency and excellence in maritime trade.
This remarkable achievement underlines the position of Mundra Port in the maritime trade sector not only in India but globally. The port’s ability to handle such a large volume of containers in such a short time is a testament to the infrastructure, technology and dedicated workforce at Mundra Port.
Comparing this achievement to the previous FY23, Mundra Port reached the 4 million TEUs milestone on November 11, 2022. It took 225 days to reach this target. The significant reduction in the number of days to achieve the same volume of container handling in FY24 is an example of Mundra Port’s continued operations and commitment to the shipping industry and dedication to meet the ever-increasing demands of maritime trade.
